Real Madrid will entertain Alaves at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this Tuesday night as they try to collect all three points at home in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to earn a dominant 4-0 win over Granada recently which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Carlo Ancelotti will opt for the 4-4-2 formation and is expected to make a handful of changes to his first XI for this game. Vinicius Junior, Federico Valverde and Nacho could all get a chance to impress from the start of this clash.
4-4-2 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Alaves
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for the Madrid outfit after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. Nacho will resume his defensive partnership with Antonio Rudiger at the heart of Los Blancos’ backline as they look to keep the opposition at bay during the 90 minutes.
Dani Carvajal will once again function as the right-back while Ferland Mendy looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Eder Militao will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench. However, David Alaba remains sidelined due to a serious knee injury.
Midfield
Eduardo Camavinga will anchor the midfield for Real Madrid while both Toni Kroos and Federico Valverde fill in as the box-to-box midfielders for the home side. Jude Bellingham will play just ahead of them as he tries to create some decent openings for others around him in the final third.
Luka Modric will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required. However, Aurelien Tchoumeni won’t recover in time for this game.
Attack
Brahim Diaz and Vinicius Jr. will lead the charge for the Madrid outfit up top. Both of them need to combine well so that they can cause a lot of chaos in and around the Alaves penalty area.
Joselu will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the contest if Los Blancos are in need of a goal by then.
