In a recent video on Twitter, a Manchester United supporter was seen asking Bernardo Silva about Manchester City and their 115 FFP charges in public. The video has since gone viral on various social media platforms.
Silva deserves a ton of credit for helping Man City secure the Premier League title on the final day of this league campaign after they beat West Ham United by a 3-1 margin last Sunday. It was the Mancunian club’s fourth title in a row under the stewardship of Pep Guardiola.
Man City showed their resilience by going on a strong run to end this Premier League campaign and did well to narrowly edge out Arsenal in the title race. Guardiola’s players finished with 91 points after 38 matches and were the highest scorers in the division.
However, a few days after Man City’s recent title win, Silva was approached by a Man United fan when he was visiting a pet shop. While Silva was browsing his phone, the fan went on to approach the Portugal international and said, “Bernardo, how does it feel to have 115 charges?”
This United fan saw Bernardo Silva in public and mentioned City’s 115 charges…

The 29-year-old appeared to crack a smile but chose to take the high road by not responding to the Man United supporter. Silva has enjoyed a terrific campaign at the Etihad Stadium as he has managed to put in a series of impressive displays for Man City in the final third.
The Lisboa-born talent has found the back of the net on 11 occasions and picked up ten assists in 48 matches for his current employers this season across all fronts. He is still enjoying his football under Guardiola’s guidance at the moment.
Man City are now set to take on Manchester United in the FA Cup final this Saturday. Guardiola would hope that his men can complete the league and cup double by lifting the famous trophy at Wembley Stadium this weekend.
A hearing on Man City’s 115 FFP charges sanctioned by the Premier League is set to take place later this year. If found guilty, the Mancunian giants could be hit with a points deduction similar to what Everton and Nottingham Forest had to endure this season.
