West Ham United locked horns with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to grind out a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Hammers made a poor start to the game and found themselves two goals down inside the first 18 minutes due to a Phil Foden brace. Mohammed Kudus got a goal back for David Moyes’ side in the 42nd minute as West Ham went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.
West Ham conceded their third goal in the 59th minute when Rodri got his name on the scoresheet. The Hammers ended up suffering a lackluster 3-1 loss away from home.
