Manchester United will travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday night. They will hope to bring a positive result as they held a draw against Burnley in their recent game. They are sixth in the points table and might be able to secure any European berth for next season.
However, the upcoming series of games will be crucial for the Red Devils as they have the FA Cup final scheduled later this month. They must build good momentum before the trophy final as they will lock horns with the ruthless Manchester City side.
4-2-3-1 Manchester United Predicted Lineup Vs Crystal Palace
Defence
Andre Onana will operate between the sticks for Manchester United as he looks to do better for the club. His performance in the previous game has raised major doubts over his quality. Right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka should continue in the lineup. However, he needs to be sharp in the final third.
Jonny Evans recently returned to training and is likely to walk into the XI to partner with Harry Maguire in the middle of the defence. Expect no change at the left full-back position as Diogo Dalot seems to be retained.
Midfield
The return of Evans means Casemiro will finally get rid of playing in the defensive line and return to his original place. He is expected to link up with Kobbie Mainoo to form the holding midfield duo, sending Christian Eriksen to the bench.
Marcus Rashford has been making progress but might not be able to participate in this game. Hence, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho should continue to be deployed on the flanks. Bruno Fernandes is also doubtful due to a knock he picked up against Burnley.
Attack
Rasmus Hojlund will continue to lead the attacking line as a striker. However, he needs to get back to his red-hot form.
Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Anthony Martial, and Scott McTominay are other possible absentees.
