Manchester City welcomed Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Etihad Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to secure maximum points at home in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola‘s men made a quick start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a 3-0 lead thanks to Erling Haaland’s hattrick in the first 45 minutes.
Wolves got a goal back thanks to Hwang Hee-chan’s effort in the 53rd minute. However, Haaland scored again just a minute later before Julian Alvarez put Man City 5-1 ahead in the 85th minute. The contest ended with Man City earning a dominant 5-1 win at the Etihad.
