Manchester United welcomed Newcastle United at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they hoped to earn all three points at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 31st minute when Kobbie Mainoo got his name on the scoresheet. Man United went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Anthony Gordon equalised for Newcastle in the 49th minute but Amad Diallo restored Man United’s advantage just eight minutes later. Rasmus Hojlund found the back of the net as well in the 84th minute before Lewis Hall got a goal back for the visitors in injury time. The contest ended with Man United securing a hard-fought 3-2 win in front of their home fans.

Diallo was a constant menace in the final third and ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.

He performed his defensive responsibilities well but struggled to influence the game in the final third.

Garnacho caused some problems for the opposition defenders but there was no goal for him.
