Tottenham Hotspur will face off against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane earlier tonight as they hope to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. Spurs suffered a tough 2-0 loss at the hands of Manchester City recently which has drained their confidence ahead of this game.
Angelos Postecoglu will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make some changes to his first team for this clash. Dejan Kulusevski and Emerson Royal will both get a chance to play from the start of this game.
4-2-3-1 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face Sheffield United
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario will function in between the sticks for the North London club after shipping in a couple of goals in his last league outing. Cristian Romero will play alongside Micky van de Ven at the centre of the Tottenham backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the game.
Pedro Porro will be a nailed-on starter at right-back while Emerson Royal looks to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Radu Dragusin will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Pape Matar Sarr will try to give a good account of themselves at the centre of the park. The talented trio of Brennan Johnson, James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski will play just ahead of them as part of Postecoglu’s attack. All three of them need to combine well so that they can create enough chances for Spurs to come out on top in this clash at Bramall Lane.
Oliver Skipp and Giovani Lo Celso will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to impress in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Heung-min Son will lead the charge for the North London giants in the final third. He has to find a way to threaten the Sheffield goal during the 90 minutes.
Dane Scarlett will make up the numbers on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if needed. However, Richarlison will be sidelined for this game due to injury.
