What everyone thought to be an easy win for Liverpool, sent shocking waves across the Football fraternity. The English side played probably their worst game of the season against Atalanta. Their poor performance resulted in a 0-3 defeat in the first leg of the quarter-final in the Europa League.
The Reds will next face Crystal Palace at home in the Premier League this weekend. They are second in the points table and have a decent chance of lifting the domestic cup. However, Jurgen Klopp’s men woud like to forget about the previous game and focus on their next challenge with a positive mindset.
4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup Vs Crystal Palace
Defence
Alisson Becker is inching towards regaining full fitness, but he is unlikely to feature this weekend. Hence, Caoimhin Kelleher will continue operating between the sticks for the Reds. Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold made it to the bench after returning from a knee injury and could be making his first start since February.
The centre-back duo of Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk is likely to form the heart of the defence. Andrew Robertson should be walking back into the XI to play at the full left-back.
Midfield
Liverpool have plenty of options to pick from for the midfield unit. However, the trio of Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Alexis Mac Allister is likely to be deployed. The likes of Curtis Jones, Ryan Gravenberch, and Harvey Elliott will be used in later stages of the game as per requirements.
Attack
Mohamed Salah is set to return to the lineup as Liverpool look for nothing less than three points. While Darwin Nunez operates as the striker of the side, Luis Diaz is the front-runner for the left-wing spot. Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota will start on the bench and be used only if the situation demands.
