Barcelona will face off against Cadiz at the Nuevo Mirandilla on Saturday night as they try to collect maximum points on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club managed to earn a hard-fought 3-2 win away at Paris Saint-Germain recently, so Xavi’s men would be keen on keeping their good form going this weekend.
Barca will set up in a 4-3-3 formation once again with Xavi expected to make some tweaks to his first team for this game. Ferran Torres will lead the line for the Spanish outfit in the final third.
4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Cadiz
Defence
Marc-Andre ter Stegen will operate in goal for the Catalan giants as he looks to earn a clean sheet on the road this Saturday. Andreas Christensen will resume his defensive partnership with Ronald Araujo at the centre of the Barca backline as they try to keep things tidy at the back during the game.
Hector Fort will get a chance to impress as the left-back while Jules Kounde looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the right-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Pau Cubarsi will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive positions. However, Joao Cancelo will be sidelined for this game due to suspension.
Midfield
Xavi will opt for a midfield comprised of Frenkie de Jong, Sergi Roberto and Fermin Lopez as they try to win the 50-50 duels at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to engineer some clear-cut chances for Barca to win his clash.
Ilkay Gundogan will be named on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Joao Felix would look to make a difference on the left flank while Raphinha hopes to weave his magic from the right wing. Ferran Torres will spearhead Xavi’s attack down the middle. The Spaniard has to find a way to threaten the Cadiz goal this weekend.
Robert Lewandowski is suspended for this clash.
