Manchester City locked horns with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they focused on securing a good result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. Pep Guardiola‘s men made a dream start to the game as they scored the opener in the second minute thanks to Bernardo Silva’s great effort. However, Ruben Dias scored an unfortunate own goal in the 12th minute before Rodrygo got his name on the scoresheet in the 18th minute. Man City went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.
Phil Foden scored the equaliser for the visitors with an excellent strike in the 66th minute before Josko Gvardiol found the back of the net as well with a brilliant strike just five minutes later. However, Real Madrid found the leveler because of Federico Valverde’s outstanding effort in the 79th minute. The contest finished with Man City earning an entertaining 3-3 draw at the Bernabeu.
