Tottenham Hotspur entertained Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this afternoon as they hoped to earn a win in the North London derby. Spurs made a poor start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the 15th minute when Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored an unfortunate own goal. Bukayo Saka doubled Arsenal’s advantage just 12 minutes later before Kai Havertz put his team 3-0 ahead in the 38th minute. Angelos Postecoglu’s men went into the half-time break 3-0 down on the scoreline.
Cristian Romero got a goal back for Tottenham in the 64th minute. Heung-min Son got his name on the scoresheet from the penalty spot in the 87th minute but Spurs ended up crashing to a 3-2 defeat in the North London derby.
