Arsenal faced off against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.
Joshua Kimmich opened the goal-scoring in the 63rd minute for the home side. However, Mikel Arteta‘s men failed to come up with a response and crashed to a narrow 1-0 loss away from home.
Arsenal ended up losing the tie by a 3-2 scoreline.
