Chelsea entertained Everton at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 13th minute when Cole Palmer found the back of the net. Palmer doubled his team’s lead just five minutes later before going on to complete his hat-trick in the 29th minute. Nicolas Jackson scored again for Chelsea in the 44th minute as Mauricio Pochettino’s men went into the half-time break 4-0 up on the scoreline.
Palmer scored his fourth goal in the 64th minute from the penalty spot before Alfie Gilchrist made it 6-0 to Chelsea in the 90th minute. The contest finished with the Blues securing a dominant 6-0 win in front of their home fans.
