Chelsea entertained Manchester United at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the fourth minute when Conor Gallagher got his name on the scoresheet. Cole Palmer doubled Chelsea’s lead from the penalty spot in the 19th minute. However, Alejandro Garnacho got a goal back for Man United in the 34th minute before Bruno Fernandes equalised just five minutes later. Both teams went into the half-time break with a 2-2 scoreline.
Garnacho scored again for the Red Devils with a good header in the 67th minute. However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men refused to give up and managed to equalise thanks to Palmer’s penalty in the tenth minute of injury-time. Palmer scored again in dramatic fashion just a minute later as Chelsea secured a brilliant 4-3 win at Stamford Bridge.
