Manchester City faced off against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier tonight as they focused on securing all three points on the road in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s men made a decent start to the contest and scored the opening goal in the 17th minute thanks to Kevin de Bruyne’s effort. Phil Foden doubled his team’s advantage just nine minutes later before going on to score again in the 34th minute. Pep Guardiola‘s men were leading 3-0 at the half-time break.
Julian Alvarez put the icing on the cake as he scored again for the Mancunian club in the 62nd minute. Man City ended up cruising to a dominant 4-0 win away from home.

Ederson made a few solid saves at the back and secured an important clean sheet on the road.

The Spaniard anchored the midfield relatively well and was a good presence on the ball.

He didn’t do much wrong at the back but offered very little going forward.

Silva earned the ball back twice and made one good chance in the final third. He ended the game with an assist to his name.
CM: Kevin de Bruyne – 8/10
He managed to get his name on the scoresheet early in the game and was a real menace in the final third.
CM: Mateo Kovacic – 7/10
Kovacic managed to engineer a couple of decent chances for others around him in the Brighton half.
LW: Phil Foden – 9/10
Foden caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defenders and ended the game with two goals to his name. He deserves to be named the man of the match.
ST: Julian Alvarez – 8/10
He was always willing to have a strike at goal and managed to score in the second half.
