Liverpool crashed out of the Europa League after they failed to overturn the 3-0 trail against Atalanta in the second leg on Thursday. It means they have only the Premier League title to fight for this season. However, they dropped three vital points against Crystal Palace in the previous league game and now find themselves in a tricky situation.
The Reds are two points off the table toppers Manchester City with only six games left in this term. Hence, Jurgen Klopp’s side should keep winning their remaining games while praying arch-rivals drop points. They next face Fulham in an away fixture this weekend.
4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Starting Lineup Vs Fulham
Defence
Alisson is the undisputed goalkeeper for Liverpool and will once again be seen operating between the sticks. Conor Bradley is having an injury concern but that shouldn’t be an issue for them. Alexander-Arnold has returned from injury and should continue as the right-back.
No change is expected to be made in the centre-back duo of Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk despite a dip in their performances recently. Andy Robertson continues as the left-back in the lineup.
Midfield
Wataru Endo is in line to return to the midfield to take a deeper role. It will also allow Alexis Mac Allister to play higher on the pitch. The Argentine midfielder has been in terrific form and could be a decisive man against Fulham. Curtis Jones should also be retained to form the trio.
Attack
While Mohamed Salah lines up on the right flank, Luis Diaz operates on the left wing. However, Jurgen Klopp might prefer starting Darwin Nunez in the attacking line in place of Cody Gakpo.
Thiago Alcantara, Joel Matip and Ben Doak are already out of contention for the Sunday game. The availability of Stefan Bajcetic is subject to fitness.
