Liverpool faced off against Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds made a dominant start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute when Luis Diaz found the back of the net. Jurgen Klopp‘s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Bruno Fernandes equalised for the home team in the 50th minute before Kobbie Mainoo completed the turnaround with an excellent strike in the 67th minute. However, Liverpool struck back via Mohamed Salah’s penalty in the 84th minute as the contest finished with the Reds being held to a lackluster 2-2 draw away from home.
