Arsenal didn’t let Manchester City breach their defensive line in the recent Premier League clash to settle for a goalless draw. They are second in the points table, just two points off the toppers Liverpool. Having said that, they should continue winning their games while also praying the Reds lose points.
The Gunners will next lock horns with Luton Town this week at the Emirates Stadium. Considering the form, Arsenal will be the hot favourites to clinch the game against a side battling against relegation. It will also be a good opportunity for them to increase the goal difference, which might come into play later on.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Luton Town
Defence
David Raya looked a bit shaky against Manchester City while collecting the ball, but he managed to keep an inspiring clean sheet. He should be the man with the gloves for Arsenal once again. Ben White to be sent on the bench as Takehiro Tomiyasu starts as the right-back.
Left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko is also likely to return to the side to provide rest to Gabriel Magalhaes, who recently returned from an Achilles issue. It also means Jakub Kiwior will move to the centre-back position and form the heart of the defence with William Saliba.
Midfield
While Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice are expected to operate in the midfield, Jurrien Timber should be marking his comeback. He remained sidelined for a long period due to an ACL injury but has recovered now. Jorginho might find himself a bit unlucky to be benched.
Attack
Overcoming fitness concerns, Bukayo Saka participated against the Citizens but didn’t look in his best shape. Hence, he is likely to get the much-needed rest. In his absence, Gabriel Martinelli should be the one taking the responsibility of the right flank.
Kai Havertz to retain his spot in the attacking line, though Gabriel Jesus remains a threat to his position. Leandro Trossard is expected to operate on the left wing.
