Soucek And Bowen Get 7 | West Ham United Players Rated In Narrow Loss Vs Freiburg

West Ham United faced off against Freiburg at the Europa-Park Stadion earlier tonight as they hoped to pick up a victory in the UEFA Europa League. The Hammers made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Michael Gregoritsch finally broke the deadlock in the 81st minute as David Moyes’ men crashed to a narrow 1-0 loss away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each West Ham United player fared during the clash against Freiburg.

GK: Lukasz Fabianski – 6.5/10

He made a few important saves at the back but won’t be happy about conceding a late goal.

RB: Vladimir Coufal – 7/10

Coufal cleared the danger when he could and made some good runs with the ball on the right flank.

CB: Konstantinos Mavropanos – 7/10

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch.

CB: Kurt Zouma – 6.5/10

Zouma put his foot through the ball when needed but could only manage to restrict the home team from scoring more than once tonight.
