Tottenham Hotspur faced off against Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier today as they hoped to earn a positive result on the road in the Premier League. Spurs made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
James Maddison finally opened the goal-scoring for the visitors in the 50th minute before Brennan Johnson doubled Tottenham’s lead just three minutes later. Heung-min Son got his name on the scoresheet in injury time before Timo Werner added another goal in the dying embers of the contest. The match finished with Tottenham securing an impressive 4-0 victory away from home.
