Spanish club Real Madrid are tracking the situation of attacker Bryan Zaragoza at Bayern Munich, according to Spanish outlet Don Diario. The club find him a potential signing for the summer to increase the depth of their offensive unit.
However, the Whites aren’t alone in the race as their arch-rivals Barcelona remain interested in the youngster. They even tried to acquire his services in the winter but that failed to materialize. Both the Spanish giants can enter into a bidding war.
Bryan Zaragoza’s train has derailed at Bayern Munich
Bryan Zaragoza arrived at Bayern Munich from Granada in the winter on a loan to replace injured Kingsley Coman. However, the German club made it a permanent deal for a reported fee of €1.5 million with a new contract which runs upto 2029.
The 22-year-old is a versatile attacker who can play at multiple positions. He can play as an attacking midfielder, operate on both the flanks and can also lead the offensive line as a striker. His great dribbling and finishing skills make him a valuable pick for any side.
Unfortunately, Zaragoza’s career has taken a toll ever since landing at Allianz Arena. He has got only 43 minutes under his belt and is not in the scheme of things. Boss Thomas Tuchel has termed the language barrier a major factor behind the exclusion of the Spanish attacker.
Will Real Madrid go for Bryan Zaragoza?
Bryan Zaragoza’s situation at Bayern Munich is unlikely to improve anytime soon and hence, he would be open to changing his club. Real Madrid are monitoring the situation and would like to take advantage of it. They would like to get his signature in the summer if possible.
The Whites were keen on making a move for the youngster but ruled it out in December. However, they are back in the race and it will be interesting to see their moves in the coming days.
