Things haven’t been going too well for Manchester United this season. They are struggling at sixth position in the Premier League and are still six points off the fifth position despite playing an extra game. However, they will have to keep going with a positive mindset of turning things around.
The Red Devils will next lock horns with Everton at the Old Trafford in the domestic league this weekend. They faced a 3-1 defeat at the hands of arch-rivals Manchester City in the previous game. They will have put everything behind them and fight hard to end the season on a high note.
4-2-3-1 Manchester United Predicted Lineup Vs Everton
Defence
Andre Onana will once again line up in the goal for Manchester United. He failed to keep the clean sheet against arch-rival City but made some solid saves to avoid a humiliating scoreline. One of the best performers this season, Diogo Dalot will retain his position as the right-back.
While Raphael Varane will be an automatic pick, Jonny Evans is likely to be replaced by Victor Lindelof as the centre-back. Harry Maguire will also be in the race if he regains full fitness in time. With multiple injuries in the defensive unit, Sofyan Amrabat will be preferred for the left-back position.
Midfield
Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro will remain untouched as the holding midfielders in the lineup. They will have the services of Alejandro Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes and Antony in front of them. Scott McTominay will be sent to the bench after failing to make any impact last week.
Attack
Marcus Rashford will be leading the United’s attacking line without any second thought. He scored a rocked against City but that wasn’t enough to bring three points home. He will be eager to attain more consistency in his scoring habit.
Rasmus Hojlund is expected to get fit for the contest but will not start for sure.
