West Ham United entertained Burnley at the London Stadium earlier today as they focused on securing a win at home in the Premier League. The Hammers made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 11th minute when David Datro Fofana found the back of the net. Konstantinos Mavropanos scored an unfortunate own goal in injury-time as David Moyes’ men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Lucas Paqueta got a goal back for the Hammers in the 46th minute before Danny Ings equalised for the home team in injury-time. West Ham ended up securing a hard-fought 2-2 draw in front of their home fans.

Areola made two good saves during the game and won’t be happy after conceding twice in the first half.

He offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and was not shy of having a strike at goal.

Phillips struggled to get a foothold in the game and was replaced at half-time.
RW: Mohammed Kudus – 7/10
Kudus made a lot of dangerous runs with the ball and managed to engineer a couple of inviting chances for others around him.
CAM: James Ward-Prowse – 6/10
He failed to catch the eye in the first half and was replaced at half-time.
LW: Lucas Paqueta – 8/10
Paqueta was a constant menace in the final third and managed to score early in the second half.

He showed a few flashes of what he can do but failed to find the back of the net.
