Chelsea entertained Burnley at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a solid start to the game and found themselves at a numerical advantage in the 40th minute when Lorenz Assignon was sent off by the referee. Cole Palmer gave Chelsea the lead in the 44th minute as Mauricio Pochettino’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Josh Cullen equalised for Burnley just two minutes into the second half. Palmer gave his team the lead again in the 78th minute which was cancelled out by Dara O’Shea’s goal just three minutes later. The contest finished with Chelsea being held to a frustrating 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Fernandez caused some headaches for the opposition defenders but failed to register a goal.
RW: Cole Palmer – 9/10
Palmer was a real menace in the final third and managed to score two good goals.
CAM: Conor Gallagher – 6.5/10
Gallagher created some problems for the Burnley defenders but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
LW: Mykhailo Mudryk – 8.5/10
He caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defenders but there was no goal for him.
ST: Nicolas Jackson – 7/10
Jackson had some bright moments in the game and engineered some meaningful openings for his teammates.
