The Reds are highly interested in signing Bayern Munich starlet Jamal Musiala in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. They believe he can be a great addition to the midfield section and will help the side continue their dominance in Europe.
Jamal Musiala is confirmed to achieve greatness
Jamal Musiala is one of the highest-rated youngsters in the football world today. He switched to Bayern Munich from Chelsea in the summer of 2019. Since then, he has made huge strides in his career and has established himself in the senior team.
The German has appeared in 31 games this season so far, netting 12 goals and providing seven assists. He is averaging a whopping 2.7 shots, 1.9 key passes and 3.8 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored). He plays as an attacking midfielder and can switch to both sides.
Musiala is just 21-year-old but his pin-point decision-making puts him far ahead of other footballers of his age group. He has great dribbling skills, quality passes and even long-range shooting ability. He is destined to run shows for the biggest clubs without any doubt.
Will Liverpool break the bank?
Liverpool have brought ex-director Michael Edwards on board to look after the transfer activities. He will take charge of the new role in June. Reportedly, the 44-year-old is willing to spend huge to acquire the services of Jamal Musiala.
Bayern Munich, on the other hand, have no intentions to let Musiala leave in the summer. Their current campaign has not been going well and they will need his presence to bounce back next season. However, they will be forced to sell him if a lucrative offer arrives of at least or anything less than £100m. It will be interesting to see if the Reds break the bank to invest in the solid performer or not.
