Arsenal are preparing to host Brentford at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League this weekend. They are in terrific form and thrashed Sheffield United 6-0 in their recent game. Hence, they will be high in confidence and will want to continue their explosive run.
The Gunners lost their second position in the domestic league to Manchester City. However, they are just two points off the table-toppers Liverpool. Realistically, they have a very good chance to fight and even lift the title this season.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Brentford
Defence
Arsenal will be forced to make a change in the goalkeeping position as David Raya cannot participate against Brentford. He is on a loan from the latter side and is ineligible to play due to contract conditions. Therefore, Aaron Ramsdale will be starting the game.
While Ben White will retain his position as the right-back, Jakub Kiwior will be untouchable as the left-back. The duo of William Saliba and Gabriel will also continue to form the heart of the defence. The two had little work to do in the previous game.
Midfield
There is no reason for boss Mikel Arteta to make any changes in the midfield trio of Jorginho, Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice. All three are doing their respective jobs perfectly and running the show for their side.
Big boost for the Gunners as Thomas Partey has also recovered but he is unlikely to make it into the starting lineup. He could be used in the second half of the game.
Attack
Bukayo Saka was subbed off during the 6-0 win last week due to sickness but he is expected to be available for the game. Kai Havertz will retain his position in the side while Gabriel Martinelli might be benched as a precaution. He will be replaced by Leandro Trossard in the attacking unit. Gabriel Jesus will start from the bench and be used towards the business end of the clash.
While Jurrien Timber will be unavailable due to injury, Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (knock) are doubtful for the contest.
