West Ham United clashed heads with Newcastle United at St. James’ Park earlier tonight as they looked to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Hammers made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the sixth minute when Alexander Isak found the back of the net from the penalty spot. Michail Antonio equalised for the home team in the 21st minute before Mohammed Kudus put West Ham ahead in the dying embers of the first half. David Moyes’ men led 2-1 at the half-time break.
Jarrod Bowen put his team 3-1 up in the 48th minute. However, the Magpies came roaring back after Alexander Isak scored another goal from the penalty spot in the 77th minute. Harvey Barnes equalised for Newcastle in the 83rd minute before scoring the winning goal in the 90th minute. Anthony Gordon was sent off in injury time as West Ham suffered a tough 4-3 loss away from home.
