Barcelona faced off against Athletic Bilbao at the San Mames Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a positive result on the road in La Liga. The Catalan outfit made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Both teams ended up cancelling each other out in the second 45 minutes as the contest finished with Barca being held to a 0-0 draw at the San Mames.

The German keeper made two important saves at the back and earned an important clean sheet on the road.
RB: Jules Kounde – 7.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well and was a strong presence in the air.
CB: Pau Cubarsi – 7/10
The Spaniard cleared the danger when he could and did enough to secure a clean sheet.
CB: Ronald Araujo – 6.5/10
He didn’t do much wrong on the defensive end of the field.
LB: Joao Cancelo – 8/10
Cancelo was a positive influence at both ends of the field but has got nothing to show for his efforts.
CM: Ilkay Gundogan – 7/10
The German talent made a few decent chances for his teammates but there was no goal for him tonight.
CM: Andreas Christensen – 6.5/10
He anchored the midfield relatively well but offered very little in the opponent’s half.
CM: Frenkie de Jong – 6.5/10
De Jong began the game well but had to be substituted in the 25th minute.
RW: Raphinha – 6/10
Raphinha was quiet for most of the game and was fortunate to last 75 minutes.
ST: Robert Lewandowski – 6.5/10
He had some lively moments in the final third but failed to register a goal
LW: Pedri – 6/10
Pedri struggled to get into the flow of the game and was replaced in the 44th minute.
