Everton locked horns with Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier today as they tried to grind out a result on their travels in the Premier League. The Toffees made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 12th minute when Bruno Fernandes scored from the penalty spot. Marcus Rashford doubled Man United’s lead from the penalty spot as well in the 36th minute as Sean Dyche’s men went into the half-time interval 2-0 down on the scoreline.
The Merseyside club failed to mount a comeback in the second half and crashed to a poor 2-0 loss away from home.
