In a recent report, The Daily Mail stated that Arsenal are keeping tabs on AC Milan starlet Francesco Camarda. It has been claimed that the Gunners are monitoring the progress of the Italian striker.
Camarda’s Impressive Rise In Italian Football
The 16-year-old has come through the youth ranks of AC Milan and has done well to break into their first team recently. Camarda has already made two senior appearances for the Milan giants so far in Serie A.
The Italian whizkid has caught the eye with his performances in the youth levels of Italian football. He deserves credit for finding the back of the net nine times and grabbing two assists in 25 matches for AC Milan’s Under-19 team so far in all competitions.
However, Camarda is still very raw and would need time to prove his worth in top-flight football. Still, there is no denying that he would be a terrific acquisition for the Gunners in the long run.
Arsenal Are Keeping Tabs On Camarda: Is He A Prospect For The Future?
Camarda is proficient at finding some space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create the odd chance for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball as well.
However, there is still a lot of room for improvement in the Italian youngster’s game. Hence, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta would have to be patient with his progress before he can unlock the best out of the player at the North London club.
With all things considered, there is no doubt that Camarda is a prospect to watch out for in the future. Hence, the Gunners can expect him to grow into a top talent in the long run if they can devise a way to bring him to the Emirates Stadium in the summer.
At 16, Camarda’s ceiling is quite high but there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the high intensity of English football. Still, Arteta should try to go all out to snap him up as he has the potential to become a generational talent based on his recent form in Italian youth football.
