Liverpool will lock horns with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday evening as they look to secure another win on the road in the Premier League. The Reds managed to secure a comfortable 4-1 victory over Chelsea recently which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Jurgen Klopp will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation once again and could be inclined to name a strong first XI for this game. However, the Liverpool head coach will be sweating on the fitness of Darwin Nunez who picked up a knock recently.
4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Arsenal
Defence
Alisson Becker will function in between the sticks for the Merseyside giants after conceding one goal in his last outing. Ibrahima Konate will continue to operate alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of the Liverpool backline as they hope to keep the Arsenal forwards frustrated during the 90 minutes.
Joe Gomez will fill in as the left-back once again while Conor Bradley hopes to continue his good form on the other flank as the right-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.
Jarell Quansah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson will be named on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Curtis Jones, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai will make up Liverpool’s midfield department. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to create some clear-cut chances for the Reds to win his league contest at the Emirates.
Harvey Elliott and Ryan Gravenberch has to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if Klopp decides to call upon their services.
Attack
Luis Diaz will try to catch the eye as the left-winger while Diogo Jota looks to make a difference for the Merseyside club from the right flank. Darwin Nunez will be in a race against time to be fit for this game but should get the nod to start if he can pass a late fitness test.
Cody Gakpo will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if required.
