Aston Villa will lock horns with Luton Town at Kenilworth Road this Saturday evening as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Villans managed to earn an impressive 4-2 win over Nottingham Forest recently, so they would be full of confidence going into this game this weekend.
Unai Emery will set his men up in a 4-4-1-1 formation and is unlikely to make any tweaks for this game. Hence, we can once again expect to see Ollie Watkins lead the line for the West Midlands club in the final third.
4-4-1-1 Aston Villa Predicted Lineup To Face Luton Town
Defence
Emiliano Martinez will feature in between the sticks for the Villans after conceding two goals in his last league outing. Clement Lenglet will play alongside Pau Torres at the heart of Emery’s backline as they try to keep the opposition at bay throughout the game.
Matty Cash will continue to function at right-back while Alex Moreno hopes to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would try to get forward and express themselves in the Luton half.
Calum Chambers and Lucas Digne will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Douglas Luiz will operate along with John McGinn as they look to dominate the game at the centre of the park. Jacob Ramsey will get a chance to shine on the left flank while Leon Bailey looks to put in a productive display on the right wing.
Youri Tielemans will play in the number ten position as he looks to engineer some decent chances for others around him in the final third.
Nicolo Zaniolo will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if required.
Attack
Ollie Watkins will spearhead Emery’s attack on the offensive end of the field. He would be eager to make a difference for the West Midlands club up top.
Moussa Diaby will be available for selection on the bench as he awaits his chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.
