Arsenal will welcome Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday evening as they look to earn a victory in front of their home fans in the Premier League. The Gunners earned a hard-fought 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest recently which should keep them in good spirits heading into this clash versus Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Mikel Arteta will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and could keep changes to a minimum for this game. Gabriel Jesus will once again spearhead Arsenal’s attack up top.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Liverpool
Defence
David Raya will feature in goal for the North London club as he looks to put in a solid display at the back. William Saliba will continue to operate alongside Gabriel as they look to keep the opposition at bay during the game.
Ben White is expected to get the nod to play at right-back while Oleksandr Zinchenko hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well before trying to cause the opposition full-backs problems out on the flanks.
Jakub Kiwior will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he provides cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Emile Smith Rowe, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard will try to give a good account of themselves at the centre of the park. All three of them need to retain possession with conviction if Arsenal are to create enough chances to win this game.
Jorginho will be named on the bench as he awaits his chance to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Gabriel Martinelli will hope to put his pace to good use on the left flank while Bukayo Saka looks to weave his magic from the right. Gabriel Jesus could get a chance to lead the charge for the Gunners once again in the final third. The Brazilian forward needs to have a good game if the London club are to emerge victorious this weekend.
Eddie Nketiah will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if Arsenal are in need of a goal by then.
