Tottenham Hotspur will lock horns with Everton at Goodison Park earlier today as they looked to earn a victory on the road in the Premier League. Spurs made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the fourth-minute when Richarlison got his name on the scoresheet. However, the home team managed to equalise in the 30th minute thanks to Jack Harrison’s effort. Richarlison restored Tottenham’s advantage in the 41st minute as Angelos Postecoglu’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
Tottenham ended up conceding the equaliser in injury-time when Jarrad Branthwaite found the back of the net. The contest ended up with Spurs settling for a lackluster 2-2 draw at Merseyside.
