Barcelona will entertain Granada at the Nou Camp on Sunday night as they look to secure a win at home in La Liga. The Catalan club managed to earn a 3-1 victory over Deportivo Alaves recently which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Xavi will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first XI for this game. Both Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Inigo Martinez will get a chance to play from the start of this contest.
4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Granada
Defence
Marc-Andre ter Stegen will feature in between the sticks for the Catalan giants as he looks to earn a clean sheet at the Nou Camp. Inigo Martinez will function alongside Ronald Araujo at the centre of the Barca backline as they try to keep things solid at the back versus Granada during the 90 minutes.
Jules Kounde will fill in as the right-back while Joao Cancelo hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Hector Fort will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Ilkay Gundogan, Andreas Christensen and Frenkie de Jong will make up Barca’s midfield as they focus on dominating the game at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to cause problems for the opposition and engineer enough chances to win this La Liga contest.
Oriol Romeu and Fermin Lopez will make up the numbers on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Pedri will try to catch the eye on the left flank while Lamine Yamal hopes to give a good account of himself as the right-sided wide player. Robert Lewandowski will lead the charge for the Catalan club in the final third. The Polish forward would have to carry most of the goal-scoring workload for Barca up top.
Pau Victor will be named on the bench and might come on in the latter stages of the game if required.
