Arsenal welcomed Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to secure a win at home in the Premier League. Mikel Arteta‘s men made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 14th minute thanks to Bukayo Saka’s finish. However, the Reds drew level just before the half-time break due to Gabriel’s unfortunate own goal. Both teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw at the break.
Gabriel Martinelli put the Gunners ahead in the 67th minute before Leandro Trossard put the match to bed in injury-time. The match ended with the North London club earning an impressive 3-1 win in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Arsenal player performed during the match against the Reds.

CB: William Saliba – 6.5/10
He kept things solid at the back for most of the game.
CB: Gabriel – 6.5/10
Gabriel performed his defensive duties well and was a threat at the other end of the field.

CM: Martin Odegaard – 7/10
Odegaard played some decent passes in the opponent’s half but has got nothing to show for his efforts.
