Tottenham Hotspur entertained Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a decent start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 42nd minute when Joao Gomes scored for the visitors. Tottenham went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Dejan Kulusevski equalised for the visitors in the 46th minute but Joao Gomes scored again for Wolves just after the hour mark. Angelos Postecoglu’s men failed to come up with a response and crashed to a tough 2-1 loss in front of their home fans.
