Manchester City will travel to the Vitality Stadium to face Bournemouth this weekend in the Premier League. It will be a good battle for watch out. With four wins and a draw in their last five league stage matches, the visitors will target nothing less than three points.
Pep Guardiola‘s side has managed to climb a spot and is ranking second in the league’s points table. They are just four points away from table-topper Liverpool. With one extra game in hand, City can reduce this gap to merely a point and send an alarming signal to their arch-rivals.
4-2-3-1 Manchester City Predicted Lineup Vs Bournemouth
Defence
Unsurprisingly, Ederson will be the man with the gloves. Apart from a couple of saves, he didn’t have much to do against Brentford. He will aim at securing yet another clean sheet in his bag.
Reliable Kyle Walker will operate at the right-back without any second thought. Manuel Akanji, who played a left-back in the previous game, is expected to form the centre-back pair with Ruben Dias. Nathan Ake will get start the game and take charge of the left-back position.
Midfield
Mateo Kovacic is expected to start the game in place of Oscar Bobb and form the two-man holding midfield with Rodri.
Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku are likely to form the trio in front of them. Bernardo Silva will be on the bench and can come in the second half. Kevin De Bruyne can also expect to get some minutes as he was an unused substitute against Brentford.
Attack
After a dismal game against Chelsea, Erling Haaland once again found the back of the net. He was calm to send the ball into the goal and gave his side the much-needed goal in the 71st minute of the game.
Jack Grealish and Josko Gvardiol will not be available for the contest.
