Manchester City entertained Everton at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result at home. Pep Guardiola‘s men were dominant in the first half but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Erling Haaland finally broke the deadlock in the 71st minute before going on to kill the game by scoring again in the 85th minute. The contest ended with the Mancunian club earning an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home fans.

He caught the eye at times but failed to make a difference in the final third.

The Argentine sensation made a few key chances for his teammates and was replaced in the 76th minute.
LM: Jeremy Doku – 7/10
Doku completed a few dangerous dribbles on the left wing and has got nothing to show for his efforts.
ST: Erling Haaland – 8.5/10
Haaland banged in two fine goals in the final quarter of the game to win the game for Man City. He deserves to be named the man of the match.
