Manchester City faced off against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure maximum points on the road in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 24th minute thanks to Phil Foden’s goal. Pep Guardiola‘s side went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Man City had to dig deep in the second half as they managed to grind out a narrow 1-0 win away from home.

The Spaniard anchored the midfield with conviction and made one key chance in the opponent’s half.

CM: John Stones – 6.5/10

Stones made one important interception at the centre of the park and won a couple of aerial duels as well.

Silva was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.

He had a few bright moments in the final third.
