Bayern Munich and Thomas Tuchel decided to part ways in the summer after discussing their issues. Now, Bayern will hunt for a new head coach. People are discussing Xabi Alonso from Bayer Leverkusen and Jurgen Klopp from Liverpool as potential candidates. Tuchel meanwhile will also have to find his next club. He could also join a national team.
Thomas Tuchel could become England manager
Thomas Tuchel, who’s leaving Bayern, wants to be England’s manager, taking Gareth Southgate’s job. Southgate has been under a lot of pressure despite doing well in the World Cup and Euros. Tuchel, who wants to come back to England, thinks he could be a good replacement.

Tuchel is feeling a lot of pressure because Bayern lost three times in a row. They’re eight points behind Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, and they might get knocked out of the Champions League early because they lost 1-0 to Lazio in the first leg of their last-16 match last week.
Bayern wanted to finish the season with Tuchel and then decide what to do, but they announced on Wednesday that he’s leaving the club.
“We have agreed that we will end our working relationship at the end of this season. Until then, I will of course continue to do everything I can with my coaching staff to achieve maximum success,” Tuchel said.
“In an open, good conversation we came to the decision to mutually end our collaboration in the summer. Our goal is to carry out a sporting realignment with a new coach for the 2024/25 season. Until then, every individual at the club is expressly called upon to achieve the maximum possible in the Champions League and Bundesliga. I also explicitly hold the team accountable in this regard. In the Champions League in particular, after losing 1-0 in the first leg at Lazio, we are convinced we will reach the quarter-finals at a packed Allianz Arena with our fans behind us,” Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen added.
