Liverpool welcomed Burnley at Turf Moor at Anfield earlier this afternoon as they looked to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a bright start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 31st minute when Diogo Jota found the back of the net. However, the visitors struck back via Dara O’Shea’s excellent header just before the half-time break.
Jurgen Klopp‘s men took the lead once again in the 52nd minute when Luis Diaz scored from close range. Darwin Nunez put the contest to bed in the 79th minute with a brilliant header as the match ended 3-1 in favour of the Merseyside club.
