Liverpool faced off against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds made a poor start to the contest as they conceded the opening goal in the 14th minute when Bukayo Saka found the back of the net. However, Jurgen Klopp‘s men managed to equalise just before the half-time break thanks to an own goal for Gabriel.
The Merseyside club were poor in the second half and conceded their second goal in the 67th minute Gabriel Martinelli got his name on the scoresheet. Ibrahima Konate was sent off by the referee in the 88th minute before Leandro Trossard put the match to bed by scoring in injury time. The contest ended with the Reds suffering a poor 3-1 loss away from home.
