Everton are all set to host Crystal Palace at the Goodison Park in a Premier League fixture on Monday. Though the game will be crucial for both sides, the home side will be more desperate to secure three points. They faced a 0-2 defeat at the hands of Manchester City in the previous game.
Having won just eight games in 24 outings, the Toffees are 18th in the points table. They need to step up their performance in the upcoming games to avoid relegation. With home support, it will be a good opportunity for them to climb up the table.
4-3-3 Everton Predicted Lineup Vs Crystal Palace
Defence
Jordan Pickford will once again line up in goal for Everton. He couldn’t do much in the previous game against City. He would be eager to keep a clean sheet against Crystal Palace. Seamus Coleman is likely to replace Ben Godfrey at the right-back as the latter was taken off just 10 minutes after half-time due to illness.
James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite are likely to be retained at the defence. While Tarkowski had a decent outing, Branthwaite wasn’t too comfortable against Erling Haaland. Vitaliy Mykolenko will once again be deployed at the left-back position.
Midfield
While Jack Harrison and James Garner are supposed to be retained in the lineup, Amadou Onana will replace Ashley Young in the midfield. The trio will have to sweat hard to control the tempo of the game and dictate the midfield.
Attack
Abdoulaye Doucoure is going to start for Everton as confirmed by boss Sean Dyche. He will have the companies of Dwight McNeil and Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the attacking line. The toffees haven’t scored a goal in the last four of their five matches in the domestic league. Hence, the trio must work hard to find the back of the net.
Arnaut Danjuma (ankle), Dele Alli (groin) and Andre Gomes (calf) will miss the contest due to injuries.
