West Ham United entertained Arsenal at the London Stadium earlier today as they looked to grind out a result at home in the London derby. The Hammers made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 32nd minute when William Saliba found the back of the net. Bukayo Saka doubled Arsenal’s lead via the penalty spot in the 41st minute before Gabriel made it 3-0 just three minutes later. Leandro Trossard scored another goal for his team in injury-time as the Gunners went into the half-time interval 4-0 to the good.
Saka scored again for the visitors in the 63rd minute before Declan Rice made it 6-0 just a couple of minutes later. The derby ended with West Ham suffering a heavy 6-0 defeat in front of their home fans.
