Barcelona will lock horns with Celta Vigo at the Estadio Municipal de Balaídos this Saturday evening as they look to secure maximum points on their travels in La Liga. The Catalan club were held to a 3-3 draw against Granada recently, so they would be eager to get back to winning ways in the league.
Xavi will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and could make one change to his first XI for this game. Ronald Araujo will get an opportunity to play from the start of this clash while Inigo Martinez makes way for him and drops to the bench.
4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Celta Vigo
Defence
Marc-Andre ter Stegen will play in goal for the Catalan club after conceding three goals in his last league outing. Ronald Araujo will function alongside Pau Cubarsi at the centre of the Barca backline as they try to keep a clean sheet this weekend.
Jules Kounde will try to impress at right-back while Joao Cancelo looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them would be keen on getting forward and creating some decent chances from the wide areas.
Inigo Martinez will provide cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.
Midfield
Frenkie de Jong, Andreas Christensen and Ilkay Gundogan will make up Xavi’s midfield three. Their main focus would be to move the ball well in the middle of the park and create some decent chances for their teammates to find the back of the net.
Fermin Lopez will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Pedri will get a chance to shine as the left-sided wide player while Lamine Yamal hopes to prove his worth on the right flank. Robert Lewandowski will spearhead Barca’s attack on his own up top. The Polish striker would be eager to put in a productive performance for the Catalan club in the final third.
Raphinha will make up the numbers on the bench as he awaits his opportunity to catch the eye in the final quarter of the game if Barcelona are in need of a goal by then.
