Everton will welcome West Ham United at Goodison Park this Saturday afternoon as they look to earn all three points at home in the Premier League. The Toffees managed to earn a hard-fought 1-1 draw away at Brighton and Hove Albion which should give them some confidence ahead of this game.
Sean Dyche will opt for the 4-4-1-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this game. Amadou Onana will probably get the nod to play from the start of this clash at Merseyside.
4-4-1-1 Everton Predicted Lineup To Face West Ham United
Defence
Jordan Pickford will function in between the sticks for the Toffees after shipping in one goal in his last league outing. Jarrad Branthwaite will feature alongside James Tarkowski at the heart of the Everton backline as they focus on keeping the West Ham attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.
Ben Godfrey will fill in as the right-back while Vitaliy Mykolenko looks to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Nathan Patterson and Michael Keane will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Amadou Onana will play along with James Garner at the centre of Dyche’s midfield as they try to make life tough for the opposition in the middle of the park. Dwight McNeil will try to catch the eye on the left flank while Jack Harrison hopes to give a good account of himself as the right-winger.
Abdoulaye Doucoure will operate in the number ten position. He would have to carry most of the creative workload for the Toffees in the final third.
Idrissa Gueye is unlikely to recover in time for this game. Ashley Young will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required.
Attack
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will spearhead Dyche’s attack up top. He has to find a way to threaten the West Ham goal this weekend.
Beto will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if Dyche opts to call upon their services.
