Real Madrid will clash heads with Getafe at the Estadio Coliseum on Thursday night as they look to secure all three points on their travels in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to secure a narrow 2-1 away at Las Palmas recently which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Carlo Ancelotti will opt for the 4-1-2-1-2 formation and is expected to name a strong first XI for this game. The Real Madrid boss will probably make one tweak in this midweek clash. Federico Valverde could get a chance to play from the start of this contest while Dani Ceballos makes way for him and drops to the bench.
4-1-2-1-2 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Getafe
Defence
Andriy Lunin will feature in between the sticks for Los Blancos after shipping in one goal in his last league outing. Antonio Rudiger will operate alongside Nacho Fernandez at the centre of Ancelotti’s defence as they look to keep things solid at the back during the game.
Fran Garcia will keep his spot at left-back while Dani Carvajal looks to impress on the other flank as the right-back. Both of them would be given the license to get forward and join in on the attack when they can.
Ferland Mendy will offer cover for the left-back position on the bench.
Midfield
Eduardo Camavinga will anchor the midfield for the Madrid giants while both Toni Kroos and Federico Valverde play just ahead of him as the box-to-box midfielders. Brahim Diaz will once again operate in the number ten position as he looks to create some clear-cut chances in the final third.
Luka Modric and Dani Ceballos will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo will lead the line for Los Blancos up top. Both of them need to combine well if Real Madrid are to come out on top this week.
Joselu will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the latter stages if Ancelotti’s side are in need of a goal by then.
