Chelsea entertained Preston North End at Stamford Bridge earlier this evening as they looked to secure a win at home in the FA Cup. The Blues made a good start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Armando Broja broke the deadlock in the 58th minute before Thiago Silva doubled Chelsea’s advantage just eight minutes later. Raheem Sterling got his name on the scoresheet as well with a great strike in the 69th minute. Enzo Fernandez ended up scoring a late goal as Mauricio Pochettino’s men cruised to a dominant 4-0 win in front of their home supporters.

He made two good saves at the back and earned an important clean sheet this evening.

Gilchrist didn’t do much wrong inside his half and made one decent run with the ball.

The French talent kept things solid on the defensive end of the pitch and would be quite pleased with the clean sheet.

Colwill got stuck in with some crunching tackles and won his fair share of aerial duels.
LB: Malo Gusto – 7.5/10
He was bright and inventive in the opponent’s half and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Moises Caicedo – 7/10
Caicedo was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.
CM: Enzo Fernandez – 8.5/10
He made some inviting chances for others around him and managed to find the back of the net late in the game.
RW: Raheem Sterling – 9.5/10
Sterling was a constant menace in the final third and ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.
CAM: Cole Palmer – 7/10
Palmer caught the eye at times in the opponent’s half and did well to secure an assist.
LW: Mykhailo Mudryk – 6.5/10
He caused some headaches for his marker but never looked like he would score.
ST: Armando Broja – 8/10
Broja scored the opener early in the second half but was unfortunate not to add to his goal tally.
