Scottish Premiership transfer rumours: Josh Doig swap deal for Rangers? Dexter Lembikisa close to joining Hearts and more

Here are the latest Scottish Premiership transfer rumours of the day as on 12.1.2024.

Rangers interested in Marko Bulat

Rangers are after Dinamo Zagreb’s Marko Bulat as per reports from Football Scotland. Rangers are aiming to strengthen their midfield this month and are considering bringing in Bulat. Philippe Clement wants to bring in a new midfielder who is creative and Bulat fits the role.

Bulat has scored five goals and assisted twice in 23 games this season. His price is around £5 million. The club has been keeping an eye on him, along with other options for January. Bulat has played for Croatia in various age groups up to under-21s.

Will it happen? The price tag definitely makes us sceptical.

Nicolas Kuhn very close to Celtic

Celtic are about to sign Nicolas Kuhn, making him their first signing for January. They’re close to a deal with Rapid Vienna for the winger.

Various outlets confirm that a crucial step for the transfer has been taken, as Celtic got a work permit for the 24-year-old to move to Glasgow. They are likely to pay around 3 million euros for the former Germany youth player.

Dexter Lembikisa could join Hearts

Hearts are close to signing Wolves defender Dexter Lembikisa for the rest of the season. Manager Steven Naismith really wants a right-back, and Lembikisa from Jamaica is the top choice. They are talking about it, and the Scottish Premiership club wants to wrap up the loan deal before next weekend’s Scottish Cup match against Spartans.

The 20-year-old full-back, who started in Wolves’ academy and played for the first team in a League Cup match with Leeds United in November 2022, has been on loan at Rotherham United this season to get more playing time.

Hibs could sign Adryan Oliveira

Hibs are checking out Brazilian player Adryan Oliveira during their training in Dubai. Oliveira hasn’t been with a club since leaving Brescia in the summer. He used to play for Leeds United and has been at Nantes, Sion, and Kayserispor. Adryan will try to impress Hibs boss Nick Montgomery to get a deal with the Scottish Premiership team.

Rangers interested in Josh Doig

Yilmaz is on the verge of moving to Verona. On the other hand, it seems Rangers are trying to get in Josh Doig according to Sky Sports.

The additional interest from other clubs for Yilmaz like Sassulo definitely is helping in Rangers in trying to get in Doig.
